Slack integration
Connect a Slack workspace so messages can route into your agents.
Connect the workspace
- In the Piper dashboard, open Settings → Channels.
- Click “Add to Slack” and follow the OAuth flow.
- Authorize Piper to access your Slack workspace.
- Confirm the workspace appears in the Slack section.
Once connected, you can assign an entry agent to handle incoming messages from Slack.
Enterprise/VPC Deployments
If running Piper in a private network (VPC, on-prem), you must configure
your firewall to allow Slack traffic.
Outbound (Piper → Slack)
api.slack.com (HTTPS/443) - API calls
Inbound (Slack → Piper)
If you cannot allow this traffic, Slack integration will not work.
